When he was older, Galileo heard about a new invention from the Netherlands. It was a telescope which made far away things look closer! If you looked at a ship that was far away, you could see all the details clearly. It was super cool!

おおきくなって、ガリレオはオランダの　あたらしいはつめいのことをききました。とおくのものが　ちかくにみえる　ぼうえんきょうでした。とおくのふねをみると、こまかいところまで　はっきりとみえます。すごいことでした。
