He eventually got old and his body weakened. He died on a small island in the Mediterranean Sea. Even though Napoleon was the ruler of a very big country, he fought on the battlefield and risked his life many times. French people respected Napoleon Buonaparte so much because he was a hardworking man who was very brave and smart.
