Some people believe Newton came up with his gravity idea while he was a farm boy. One day, while he was sitting under a tree, a big apple fell on his head. He was shocked and angry. Then he started wondering why apples fell from trees by themselves. He asked people on the farm but no one could give him a clear answer.

ニュートンの　じゅうりょくのアイデアは、のうじょうのしょうねんだったころに　うまれたと　しんじるひともいます。あるひ、きのしたに　すわっていると、おおきなリンゴが　あたまに　おちました。 かれはショックをうけ　おこります。それから、なぜ　リンゴはじぶんで　きからおちるのか　ふしぎに　おもいはじめました。のうじょうのひとたちに　きいてみましたが、だれも　はっきりこたえることが　できませんでした。
