French people decided to change France. And they started the French Revolution in 1789. The French revolution took the power from the King and gave it to the people. From that moment, the people could decide the rules, not the King.

ひとびとは、フランスをかえたいと　けっしんしました。そしてかれらは　1789ねんに　フランスかくめいをはじめます。フランスかくめいは　おうさまから　ちからをうばい、それをこくみんに　あたえました。そのしゅんかんから、おうさまではなく　こくみんが　ルールを　きめられるようになったのです。
